A gorgeous, solid oak, Dutch style dresser. This vintage dresser has acanthus leaf carving on its upper drawers and linenfold carvings on its cupboard doors. It has been painted in a shabby chic style in Farrow & Ball 'Lime White' Estate Eggshell, which is a lovely pale cream colour. The inside of the cupboard doors have been painted with Annie Sloan 'Duck Egg Blue' chalk paint. The paint work has been slightly 'distressed' to augment the vintage character of the dresser. Two coats of undercoat have been applied prior to painting with three coats of the Farrow & Ball 'Lime White'. A coating of clear bees' wax has also been applied to the paint work. The top work surface has been sanded back to its natural oak and three coats of clear 'Liberon' bees' wax applied.

This is dresser is in the popular 'Dutch' style with an arched top, and is unusual in having four drawers. Nearly all of the dresser is solid oak, the dovetail constructed drawer sides are solid mahogany. The interior cupboard shelf and drawer bases are made from plywood. It is a vintage item and will have some small scratches marks and dings.

The top and bottom sections separate for ease of transportation.
