A very pretty, solid oak, vintage Ercol dresser, painted with chalk paints. The original dark varnish has been stripped off most of this dresser. The top work surface and the shelf facings have been left as natural oak with a bees' wax finish. The dresser base has been painted with four coats of Autentico 'Antique White', subtle cream colour chalk paint. The drawer and cupboard handles have been painted with Annie Sloan 'Duck Egg Blue', and the inside of the cupboard doors have been painted with Annie Sloan 'Chateau Grey' which is a green grey. Painted in a shabby chic style with subtle distressing to the paint work. The dresser has been finished with two coats of bees' wax.

The dresser top rack is quite low, which is typical of Ercol dressers of the period. Please note that the plate rack only holds small plates. The cupboard area has a useful shelf and the doors have a lovely Ercol sliding latch.

The top and base sections separate for ease of transportation. Total height: 161.5cm. Base: 123cm wide, 85cm high, 48cm deep. Top: 115.5cm wide, 76.5cm high, 11cm deep.

Collection in person.
